Youth Christian Formation – Grades 6-12
Christian Formation classes for youth in grades 6-12 will resume on Sunday, January 9th from 9:15-9:45 meeting outside the parish hall.  Meeting outside satisfies the health concerns of students, parents, teachers and the multiple assistants. The curriculum for the class will continue to be Real and Relevant.  This program is lectionary based and makes use of movie clips to foster discussion. Real and Relevant not only provides basic scripture readings, but applications and skills that the students can apply to their daily lives.

Each week I will continue to communicate with both the parents and youth via email and text to give everyone a preview of what to expect in that week’s lesson.  Additional thanks go to Frank D’Antuono, Isobel Gotschall, Kathy Barzilla, Isobel Gotschall, Helen Tanner, Ruthie Hurta and Charlie Yates who help satisfy the requirements for Safeguarding God’s Children and make the class possible.
As always, please contact Chris Abbott with your questions or concerns.  It is an honor and a pleasure for us to continue to watch the youth of St. Mark’s grow and mature.  Parents are welcome to join our class at any time.  See you on January 9, 2022.
